Geology Walk: Kingsbarns, Fife

21 June @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

- Free

Join the GeoBus team on a guided walk to explore local rock and fossil highlights on the Fife coast near Kingsbarns.

We’ll wander along the Fife Coastal Path route to explore a range of interesting rock types, features and fossils, including marks left by fossil trees and tracks left by a giant millipede.

Meet at Kingsbarns Beach car park (nearest postcode: KY16 8SX) at 10am. Please note that parking is free for up to 2 hours, but there is a £2 charge to park for longer than that. The full guided walk is approximately 6km and will take 3 hours, following sections of the coastal path but also going over rocks and along beaches. Your ability to complete the walk is at your own discretion.

This event is free, but booking is essential. Please book your space by e-mailing geobus@st-andrews.ac.uk.
