Exhibition of Christina Riley’s year long photography project ‘The Beach Today’ at the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine, Ayrshire.
The Beach Today began as a daily photography project developed during lockdown walks along the Ayrshire coast, and evolved into a year long photo series pairing a photographic seascape taken from an Ayrshire beach with a stone picked up from the same shore, on the same day. The Beach Today exemplifies her sensitive approach to geological storytelling and reflects a broader concern with our relationship to the natural world during times of uncertainty and change.
Entry is free for up to three children that are 3 yrs+ with each Adult or Concession ticket. Adult: £10.00, Concession: £8.00, Child: £4.50. Ticket price includes access to Maritime Museum.
