Art in Earth Science: 01 August – 04 August 2024. 

An exhibition inspired by the ever changing landscapes and rocks around us – a selection of artists and lapidarists have interpreted and enhanced nature’s art through different approaches and mediums. Organised by the Scottish Geology Trust and Leith Lapidary Club in conjunction with Edinburgh Palette. 

Featuring work by Kari de Koenigswarter, Carmen Carmeli, Fran Marquis, John Burness, Vojta Hybl, Morag Smith, Amy Peoples, Phoebe Sleath, Gethyn Burgess, Simon Gardner, Pindar Sidisunthorn and John Taylor. 

The exhibition is free and open to all and can be visited in Gallery 1 of St Margaret’s House in Edinburgh at the following times:

Thursday 1st August: 1100-2100

Friday 2nd August: 0900-2100

Saturday 3rd August: 0900-1700

Sunday 4th August: 1200-1600
