We’re welcoming friends from the Scottish Mineral & Lapidary Club who will wow us with remarkable volcanic rocks and minerals from around the world! You’ll get the chance to chat to the experts who can help unlock the exciting secrets that Scotland’s rocks contain, with a hands-on display for the whole family.
Join Dynamic Earth’s Science Communication team to get hands-on with science. You’ll make a paper volcano, craft an ammonite fossil and even dig up dinosaur bones – recommended for budding palaeontologists ages 5+!

How to Buy a Ticket:
These activities are free of charge, no ticket required. Drop in anytime from 10am-4pm.
Recommended Age:
This activities are recommended for ages 5+ but anyone can enjoy geology with a grown up to help!
