We’re welcoming friends from the Scottish Mineral & Lapidary Club who will wow us with remarkable rocks and magnificent minerals! You’ll get the chance to chat to the experts who can help unlock the exciting secrets that Scotland’s rocks contain, with a hands-on display for the whole family.
Join Dynamic Earth’s Science Communication team to get hands-on with science. You’ll make a paper volcano, craft an ammonite fossil and even dig up dinosaur bones – recommended for budding palaeontologists ages 5+!

Katie Strang, director of the Scottish Geology Festival and Curator of Rocks & Minerals at The Hunterian, will join us on Monday 16th September to help us unravel what life was like in Scotland hundreds of millions of years ago with an amazing array of rocks and fossils.
