Join Margaret Greene, President – Geological Society of Glasgow, for a guided walk to explore over 300 million years of history around Rouken Glen Park. Discover rocks deposited at a time when Scotland was close to the equator and the area was part of a huge coastal plain on the edge of a shallow sea, experiencing a hot, tropical and humid climate.
The walk will follow the leaflet on the geology of the park produced by East Renfrewshire and available on the Glasgow Geological Society website.
