
Join the curators of Palaeobiology at National Museums Scotland for a behind the scenes tour of the fossil collections stored at the National Museums Collection Center.
4 tours are available throughout the day. Tours are free but booking is essential.

NOT the National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street.
There will be no on-site parking available. Please travel by public transport where possible. Lothian buses 9, 8, 16 and 200 stop next to the site entrance (stop: Caroline Park Grove). Lothian buses 22, 19, and 38 all stop within a 5 minute walk of the Collection Center (stop: Royston Mains Crescent).
Accessibility: The tour will be on ground level with step-free access and all buildings are wheelchair accessible. The route between the reception building and collections building is on a moderate hill. Accessible toilets are available, but there are no dedicated baby changing facilities. Very limited on-site parking is available for those with accessibility needs, please contact e.brown@nms.ac.uk directly to arrange use of this.
