Lifelong Learning at the University of Edinburgh: Geology of Arthur’s Seat

This course offers an opportunity to explore igneous rocks on Arthur’s Seat, learning to decipher the clues that hint at dramatic past events. Sessions are largely classroom based with lectures and practical activity. Please note, this course includes field trips – visits to Arthur’s Seat, a spectacular natural laboratory in the heart of Edinburgh.
