British Geological SurveyStep into deep time with the British Geological Survey (BGS) as we explore Scotland’s fossil record – from early marine life to land-dwelling reptiles.
View real specimens from the BGS collections and trace how life evolved across millions of years, shaped by shifting climates and landscapes. Booking is required and the tour will last 60 minutes, with an additional 15 minutes allowed for re-setting and changing to the next group. Each tour will be a maximum of 20 people and the minimum age for attendance is 9 years old. Only those whose names are associated with a ticket will gain access to the site.
