New edition of Earth Heritage features lots of interesting Scottish geology news!

The latest edition of Earth Heritage, the Geological and Landscape Conservation magazine, is out today. It includes several interesting articles about Scotland’s geology, including an update on the Scottish Geology Trust’s Geosites project, an overview of the refreshed Scottish Fossil Code and an article on a project that connects art and science through the palaeontology of the Isle of Skye. And if you fancy something a bit more out-of-this-world, you can read about how hundreds of kilograms of igneous rock were collected on the Isle of Rum. to support the Earth-based preparation for missions to return samples from Mars in the coming decade.
