Join the Early Careers Network and the Central Scotland Regional Group of the Geological Society of London for a relaxed evening connecting with fellow early career geologists and geoscientists!
We’ll kick things off with a brief introductory session in a city centre office, followed by a scenic walk up Calton Hill where we’ll share some fun geological facts about Arthur’s Seat, Edinburgh’s ancient volcano. We’ll wrap up the evening with food and drinks at Edinburgh Street Food—perfect for chatting, networking, and unwinding. Whether you’re new to the field or new to the city, it’s a great chance to meet like-minded geoscientists in an informal setting.
