Join the GeoBus team to explore local rock and fossil highlights on the St Andrews coast.
The first few stops on our walk will be within the town, followed by a wander along the Fife Coastal Path to visit our local volcano at the Rock and Spindle, a Geological SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest), noting features on our way.
Meet at West Sands car park (by the Golf Museum, postcode: KY16 9AB) at 10am.
This guided walk will follow sections of the Fife Coastal Path but will also include walking over rocks and along beaches. Your ability to complete the walk is at your own discretion.
