In her book Weathering, author, psychotherapist and geologist Ruth Allen explores geological processes as a metaphor for human life and experience. In this first-of-a-kind workshop, in the beautiful wilds of the NW Highlands, Ruth will take you on a sensory and creative journey of self-discovery around sites of geological interest where you will have the chance to learn about this stunning part of the world, and connect deeply with yourself and the landscape around you, inspired by some of the oldest rocks in Europe.

Together we will consider our relationship with deep and dynamic time, connect with themes of resilience and resourcing for the pressurised lives we live, spend nourishing time learning to listen to the slow world of rock, and plenty more besides.
