Urban Geology in Victoria, London: Scottish Connections

Join geologist Ruth Siddall of University College London for a guided walk exploring many interesting stones used in London’s buildings. The walk will take in the wide range of stones used in the area around Victoria Station, including the Scottish Granites, which are typical of London’s pub geology, as well as the stones used in St Andrew’s Chapel in Westminster Cathedral.

Meet: 2 pm near Victoria Station – meeting details will be sent when you book.
