What makes Edinburgh special? Through a series of short walks in and around the city centre, we will explore how has the city’s landscape been created, and how the geology and landscape of Edinburgh has influenced the development of the city. We will explore Edinburgh’s geological past, and discover how the landscape has slowly evolved and continues to change. We will consider how the rocks and landscape of the city have been used by people.
A combination of three online illustrated talks, with plenty of opportunities for questions and discussions, and five short walks exploring the city centre and greenspace.
