The Scottish Geology Trust will be holding our first Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 24 February, 6pm. This is a pivotal moment for the Trust: 2020 was all about establishing the Trust, while 2021 will be the first year where will be trying to make a difference by offering an exciting programme of activities and progressing the Trust’s aims. We hope this work and activity will continue to expand in future years, aiming to rebuild the standing of geology in Scotland.
We can’t do this without the help of our Members! The AGM will give you an opportunity to view and comment on the 2021 plans, so your thoughts and voice can be heard, something the Board believes is essential. To make a difference we also need volunteers to give a little time for working groups which will drive forward our efforts in the areas of education, geoparks support, promoting Scottish geology and campaigning. With YOUR help we can make greater progress putting our plans into action. Let’s build on the momentum of 2020 as we move forward in 2021.
