Leith Lapidary Club workshop, in the basement of Edinburgh Palette St Margaret’s House, will be open to see the equipment used to cut and polish stones and pebbles for collections, or making into jewellery with silver or wire binding. Finished items will be on display and members there to explain the processes.

Access to Leith Lapidary Club is via the car park off Restalrig Road South, following the road through to the far end of the parking area. The outdoor display is here and the Basement 2 entrance to the Clubs workshop. There is good disabled access and a disabled toilet.
If coming by bus, to the London Road Jocks Lodge stop, steps near the bus stop take you down to St Margaret’s House ground floor, then take stairs or a lift down to the Basement 2 level workshop and car park display.
