The Isle of Mull (together with Iona, Staffa and Ulva) has a fascinating variety of geology. This talk will take you through the geological history of these islands and will highlight the best localities for seeing some of the most amazing geological features – from the ancient rocks of Iona to the ice sculpted landscape we see today. The talk is a gentle introduction and not over-technical. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.
