In the 18th and early 19th centuries, guide books described the walk from Dundee City centre west along the Tay as one of the most scenic in Scotland. There were wonderful views across the Firth and hidden beauty spots along the way. However today there is little sign that this path existed. Find out what happened to it and how Dundee’s waterfront has changed over the last two centuries . Looking at clues in the landscape, historic buildings and even street names will help us discover Dundee’s lost promenade.
