Come meet up with geologists and biologists who will help you explore the variety of pebbles, how they were formed and how this links to the types of wildlife that can live in the area.
This is a drop in event, so you can turn up at a time that suits you and spend as as long as you like talking to the experts.
There is parking in St Abbs Head village. Follow the coastal path south from the village and Starney Bay is the first one you’ll reach. The cliff top paths are wide and fairly level however the path down to the beach is steep and uneven – please take care and wear appropriate footwear.
Free, booking not required. Please contact the organiser if you have any questions.
An event in the Scottish Geology Festival, organised by the Scottish Geology Trust.
