Starting at the ferry slipway at Mingary, this is a gentle stroll among a fascinating geological landscape where there is an amazing variety of geological features in the one relatively small area. Find out why Ardnamurchan is such an important geological locality and gain an insight into the processes that have shaped it. The walk culminates in a Beach Pebble Session, where the sheer variety of beach pebbles will be examined, discussed and identified. A straightforward walk close to the pier.
No booking required. 10.15am start – meet at the pier.
