The Scottish Geology Trust is organising an online meeting on Thursday 25 June. This will incorporate a short Special General Meeting of the Scottish Geodiversity Forum, where members will be asked to support the dissolution of the Forum and a transfer of assets to the new Trust.
The main focus of the meeting will be to survey the current state of promotion of and awareness of Scotland’s geology. What are the assets and organisations that the new Trust needs to be aware of and work with? How can we gain widespread support from the Scottish geological community and make a sustained and substantial contribution to promoting the importance of Scotland’s geology, supporting educational initiatives and geoparks, and providing more opportunities to experience and learn from Scotland’s geology?
More details and a zoom link will be sent out on Monday 22 June. To book your place, email Angus Miller firstname.lastname@example.org.
